God's Work. Our Hands.

 Mission Statement

We are a living presence of God, celebrating as an extended family.

We are committed to sharing our faith through joyful worship and Sacrament.

We provide opportunities for growth  by offering ministries that meet the needs of our members and community.

Guiding Principles

Living Faith Lutheran* will:

  • create a welcoming environment for all people

  • equip members to serve Christ and grow spiritually

  • strengthen individuals and families

  • provide encouragement and support for those who choose to take a risk for Christ

  • draw upon the diversity of the congregation and the community to carry our our mission

  • encourage personal and congregational stewardship in support of our mission

Note:  Our church adopted this Mission Statement on January 26, 1992 - in the year of our 40th anniversary - to affirm our congregation's core values and traditions, and to guide us into the future. Years later, it continues to shape our programs, ministries and long-range plans.

Top right:  A stained-glass Luther Rose - one of 16 that appear in the side windows of our sanctuary. The seal was designed for Martin Luther by Lazarus Sepngler in 1530.  The cross, heart, rose and ring within the seal symbolize key element's of Luther's theology, including: "The just shall live by faith." (Romans 1:17)  At Living Faith Lutheran, we are committed to putting that faith into action through our worship, fellowship and our core ministries.
